Success stories so far

Yes I’m Mali has proven to be a very shrewd purchase, as he was picked up for just 22,000 guineas in October 2025 and wasted little time hitting the scoreboard at Thirsk in April for David O’Meara.

He has proven a model of consistency with a second place in a big handicap at York the following month and should continue to give his owners more memorable days out at big Saturday meetings. 

Breathe Easy was only the second ever yearling bought by RaceShare (after Ebor-meeting winner, Treasure Time). He got his head in front on his first start at three, winning in impressive fashion at Kempton in January before following up at Southwell in February, in a race where the form has worked out particularly well.

Trainer Andrew Balding immediately marked him out a horse for major summer handicaps and we look forward to seeing where he takes us in 2026 and beyond. 

A heavily backed odds-on favourite, Undiscovered made a winning start in a competitive Salisbury novice in June for trainer Ralph Beckett and jockey Rossa Ryan. Our two-year-old colt by New Bay, was bought from the Tattersalls December Yearling Sale for 55,000 guineas. Our only other yearlings bought by our buying expert Patrick Veitch to date, Treasure Time and Breathe Easy, are also winners, so Undiscovered made it a hat-trick.

In what was described as a “professional, impressive winning debut”, Ralph made it no secret that he was confident that we have a decent horse on our hands. Adding further encouragement, New Bay's progeny are not typically known for showing their very best form this early in their two-year-old careers- many improve considerably with time and often progress from two to three, making this performance all the more exciting.

A striking chestnut 4-year-old gelding bought at the 2024 Tattersalls Horses-in-Training Sale, Gibbs Island was a thrilling winner of a Sedgefield novice on his hurdles debut in January 2025 and remained unbeaten when taking the Class 2 Victor Ludorum at Haydock in devastating style.

He returned this season with a bang to win a competitive race at Chepstow’s curtain raiser in October in convincing fashion, before a fast finishing 7th in the County Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival, and looks a strong contender for top handicap hurdles.

In a truly outstanding season in 2023, the Andrew Balding-trained Scampi registered his first win of the campaign at the prestigious York Dante meeting; then went on to be second in the £150,000 Old Newton Cup at Haydock and sixth in the £200,000 John Smith’s Cup at York, both very high-profile Saturday meetings.

Scampi landed his second win of the year at the Shergar Cup, running to a Timeform rating of 103. A very large group of owners were there to see him at Ascot and Lee Mottershead, writing in the Racing Post, reported that the eruption from the crowd when he was called the winner in the photo finish ‘exceeded any heard at this year’s Royal meeting’. 

RaceShare's sole purchase at the 2022 yearling sales, Treasure Time entered training with William Haggas. Having qualified for handicaps, he was an impressive winner at Newmarket's July course in June 2024, before registering his biggest win to date in the £100k Sky Bet Mile at York's Ebor Festival, earning him a Timeform rating of 106. 

It was a memorable day for his owners & guests on track in a private facility to cheer him on, with racecourse commentator Stewart Machin describing as him "thundering over the top of them" as he stormed home under Tom Marquand.

Bought at the Autumn Horses-in-Training Sale for 85,000gns, La Pulga was sent to Charlie Johnston and proved to be a tremendously tough campaigner. His first win for RaceShare came at Hamilton in June 2023 and two seconds and a third followed that season. In 2024, he returned with victory at Newcastle and, following three excellent placed efforts in the Racing League, he added to that with a win at Thirsk that September.

Last year, in what proved to be his final season, he was better than ever, winning again at Newcastle in July by six lengths. An agonising second next time out in the Racing League at Wolverhampton was later followed by another narrow defeat at Ascot at the prestigious Shergar Cup meeting. One more run and he ended the year on an official mark of 95 - a career high.

He ran 34 times for RaceShare and took us to so many top meetings, always wearing his heart on his sleeve. He won four times for us, taking his career record to seven wins from 45 starts with a further eight seconds and seven thirds, meaning he hit the frame in almost half his racecourse appearances.
 

Bought for only £25,000 at Goffs UK's Spring Sale, Lucky Manifest won with plenty in hand at Kelso on his first start for RaceShare, and was then stepped up considerably in grade to the November Meeting at Cheltenham, the premier festival of the first half of the Jumps season. He put up an excellent effort to finish second in what was a fiercely competitive race.

A notably slick jumper, trainer Tom Lacey believes that Lucky Manifest has the size and scope to go over fences in time, so we're very excited about his future for RaceShare.
