  • Sire: Blue Bresil Dam: Beautiful War

Here is an exceptionally exciting jumping prospect, who is perhaps the most attractive purchase we have made to date.

  • Bought for us at the Tattersalls Derby sale by Patrick Veitch.
  • His sire Blue Bresil has 8 Grade 1 winners to his name, including the legendary Constitution Hill.
  • His dam has already produced Eachtotheirown, seen here winning a Grade 1 at this year’s Punchestown Festival.
  • The pedigree has to be seen to be believed, with high-class performers all the way through.
  • He’ll be trained by Jamie Snowden, who was very strong on his physical appearance.

We are delighted to introduce our new Jumps horse: an exceptionally well-bred, unraced three-year-old gelding, who is a half-brother to this season’s Punchestown Festival Grade 1 winner, Eachtotheirown. He was bought from the Tattersalls Ireland Derby Sale last week for €65,000 by Patrick Veitch - in conjunction with Tom Lacey - and will be trained by Jamie Snowden for a new 40 share syndicate.

Tom Lacey is as fine a judge as there is, having purchased six-time Grade 1 winner Energumene and numerous other top horses. He commented that this horse is "beautiful, a super physical and very light on his feet for a strong-bodied horse". Although Tom trains the majority of our jumpers, Jamie has an outstanding record in recent seasons and we have promised him another horse for some time.

This gelding’s pedigree is second to none - please see below. His sire Blue Bresil has eight Grade 1 winners to his name, including the legendary Constitution Hill. He operates at a 44% winners to runners strike rate over Jumps, the same figure as Getaway, who is widely considered one of the best Jumps stallions around.

The dam Beautiful War produced the aforementioned Grade 1 winner from just three runners to date, as well as Beatonthestreet, a recent impressive winner of an Irish P2P. Eachtotheirown’s trainer Barry Connell was quoted after his Punchestown victory that “the Arkle is to the forefront of my mind for him next season”.

This gelding’s second dam produced Glamorgan Duke, a top-grade handicap winner at the Dublin Racing Festival and, under the third dam, is dual Grade 1 winner Harbour Pilot (famously also third on two occasions to Best Mate in the Cheltenham Gold Cup) and Grade 2 winners River Wylde and Get Me Out Of Here.

Jamie needs little introduction as one of the leading trainers in the country. He was successful at the highest level with Johnny’s Jury at the Cheltenham Festival this year and has been responsible for Grade 1 winner Julius Des Pictons and Grade 2 winners Hollygrove Cha Cha, Colonel Harry, Datsalrightgino, You Wear It Well and Ga Law in recent seasons, among numerous other classy performers. Jamie had his most successful season to date in the 25/26 season with 86 individual winners and a 53% winners to runners strike rate.
