Our Team
RaceShare was founded by a team of racing and bloodstock professionals who have a shared belief in the excitement and fun being a racehorse owner can deliver and the goal of building an ownership group to compete at the highest levels of the sport.
Each member of the team works from a separate location. With our horses being trained in many different areas of the country, and running in races across the UK, this makes it possible for us to host our owners at all stable visits, represent RaceShare on the racecourse and attend the sales.
The Team
Lucy was a key player in the launch of RaceShare in 2022, and now works closely with the team to ensure all the needs of our horses, trainers and owners are being met.
She has built a career in horse racing, having worked at the British Horseracing Authority, Racing Victoria in Melbourne and then as Bloodstock Director of the Racing Post.
Lucy lives with her husband and young family in North Yorkshire.
Ash spent five years at Elite Racing Club and Owners Group, where he gained considerable experience in syndicate ownership, before joining Racing Post Bloodstock, where he launched the popular Progeny Tracker app.
He manages the day-to-day operation of RaceShare and welcomes feedback from owners. A keen golfer with a handicap of 3, he played for Wiltshire county in his teens.
Ash is based London and a Tottenham supporter.
Poppy keeps our owners up-to-date with what their horses are up to both at home and on the track. She is well known to many owners as a regular face on the racecourse when we have a runner or at stable visits throughout the year.
She spent two years at Hambleton Racing before joining the RaceShare team as Racing Manager. Away from work, she breeds horses at home and regularly rides out in her spare time for a local trainer.
Poppy lives in Cheshire.
Having worked closely with Patrick Veitch for many years, Geoff was one of the original investors in RaceShare. He's been involved in racehorse ownership, syndication and breeding for 25 years and has brought that experience to the business.
He works on the administration of our syndicates and website, but can also be found acting as host at many of our stable visits.
Geoff lives on the Berkshire/Wiltshire border.

The Investors
Patrick was one of the founding investors in RaceShare and leads the sourcing and buying of all the horses for our syndicates.
A much respected figure in the racing and betting industry, Patrick has established an outstanding record purchasing bloodstock; not just for RaceShare with the likes of Scampi, Treasure Time and Breathe Easy, but also with his recent purchases of top class Group horses like Venetian Sun, Sky Majesty, Lake Forest and Santorini Star. With him at the helm, we believe this gives us a considerable edge at the sales.
Our Silks
Designing RaceShare’s silks was a detailed process. We wanted to create a set that was stylish and elegant, but also easy for owners to spot in a race.
All racing silks must be registered with the British Horseracing Authority, and usually conform to narrow criteria. We opted to design our own, more unusual set of silks, which the BHA approved.
The interlocking gold braiding is unique to our syndicate. Working with our designers, we carefully considered different shades of gold, different fabrics, various types of gold thread for the braiding, and style of buttons. For example, we chose the buttons used on the Royal silks, which have a cross-textured pattern.
