Native Trail x Mrs Bouquet filly
SHARE: £1,713
- Sire: Native Trail Dam: Mrs Bouquet
- Patrick Veitch and William teamed up at the sales, with both very keen to secure her
- By first season sire Native Trail, who we rate very highly and whose first crop hit the track in 2027
- Her dam has already produced high class performer Take Me On
- Black type throughout her pedigree
This beautiful filly was bought by Patrick Veitch for €60,000 from the Goffs Orby Book 1 Yearling Sale and is offered as a new 40-share syndicate. Patrick commented on her being very strong ranking on his algorithms and William has a high opinion of her physique. Click here for William’s view.
She is by multiple Group 1 winner Native Trail. Patrick’s research has given him a huge edge in assessing first season sires; indeed, his only foal purchase last year was by Bayside Boy, who has had an incredible year with his debut runners. He was also ahead of the curve with Starman, when purchasing the top class Venetian Sun back in 2024, when his stud fee was only €10,000 (now €40,000).
Her dam, Mrs Bouquet, has made an excellent start to her breeding career, producing Take Me On, a serious three-year-old who is dual Listed placed and could easily go onto better things. Her first foal, Art Market, was a very solid performer, as William mentions, so he knows the family well.
The pedigree is strong all the way down, particularly the second dam, Riva Royale, who has been a roaring success, producing Listed winner Stormbringer, among multiple other winners.
Of course, William needs no introduction as one of Europe’s truly elite trainers. The partnership between him and Patrick has been extremely successful, with multiple Group wins from the likes of Lake Forest, Sky Majesty and Santorini Star. He has already had success for RaceShare with Treasure Time and Wild Dahlia and our owners have enjoyed some memorable visits to Newmarket, with William giving owners a personal tour of his historic Somerville Lodge yard.
