Lucky Manifest
- Sire: Lucky Speed Dam: Inter Alia
This syndicate is now SOLD OUT! Our latest RaceShare100 purchase is a stunning six-year-old bay gelding named Lucky Manifest, who was an eased down winner of a novice hurdle at Kelso when last seen. RaceShare100 is our most exclusive syndicate with only 100 shares in each horse.
He was the one lot that we most wanted to come away with from the recent Doncaster Spring horses-in-training sale. We had expected to pay far more than the purchase price of 25,000 guineas (£26,250) and, in fact, we had a limit of £50,000 as he came into the ring. Once again, this lot was bought by renowned racing investor Patrick Veitch.
Not only is there an upgrade in the trainer, but the biggest factor that makes us so excited about him is that his four siblings improved by an average of 44lbs from this point in their career, which really is a remarkable average.
In that impressive victory at Kelso on May 7, he easily brushed aside Just Oot, who had previously run fourth at Hexham in a race that represented very solid form. That run alone showed plenty of promise for the future.
Lucky Manifest’s dam Inter Alia has produced four decent quality horses with Racing Post Ratings ranging from 127 to 154, but all four were late maturing types, who didn’t show anything like their best until at least the Jumps season in which they turned six (which is this season for Lucky Manifest). Inter Alia is also a half-sister to Take The Stand, who was second in the Cheltenham Gold Cup and didn’t show anything like his best form until he was almost nine.
In summary, we feel that Lucky Manifest will find huge improvement over the next two seasons. We believe he is already substantially better than his handicap rating of 109 and that, as he matures, we believe he will run up a sequence and reach a much higher level. If so, Tom Lacey sees the Coral Cup at the Cheltenham Festival as the long term target.
The share price is £262 and the syndicate is limited to 100 shares. The monthly fee is £53, payable by direct debit, from 30 June 2025 for the duration of the 18-month term (ending 30 November 2026). This covers all costs – training, veterinary, transport & racing (entries, jockey & VAT services) – plus RaceShare’s service fee for the management of the syndicate.
Discounts are available on the monthly fee for larger shareholdings, as below. With the share price a lot lower, it may be some existing RaceShare100 owners will take two shares, which will on occasions mean you will be able to secure two badges for the races and take a guest.
2%-4% £51 per share, 5%-9% £49 per share, 10%-24% £46 per share, 25%+ £45 per share
RaceShare100 benefits
-
Owners will be guaranteed a place on both of the two stable visits each year. Wherever possible we will give at least 2 months’ notice of each visit, allowing time for owners to plan their trip, maybe as a mini-break if they’ve a way to travel.
-
You have direct contact with your own Racing Manager
-
Owners are invited to a Zoom call with Tom Lacey and two members of the RaceShare Team every 8-10 weeks, where the horse’s progress is discussed followed by a Q&A session for all attendees
-
With typically 40-50 owners in RaceShare100 syndicates, you will have a very high chance of securing an owner’s badge on race days, as a ballot will not always be necessary. RaceShare will also continue its unrivalled efforts to secure extra badges, either free or at discounted rates, so you will hopefully find you & guests are usually able to benefit from these.
-
As with our new 500 share syndicate, Patrick Veitch has agreed to a Zoom Q+A which we shall host with all owners of new horses. There will be two opportunities each year- and you are guaranteed a place on both of them. Patrick will take questions on all aspects of the racing industry, including bloodstock and buying for RaceShare, as well as betting and any other issues of interest.
-
As an added bonus for purchasers of RaceShare100 horses, Patrick has agreed to attend a day's racing once a year and meet with owners during the day. We will organise a facility at the races to chat to Patrick and The RaceShare team, which we will ensure will be at a discounted price from the racecourse.

The plan
Lucky Manifest made the perfect start for his owners, easily winning a Kelso handicap hurdle in October.
Given the improvement his relatives have shown from maturity and the big trainer upgrade, we hope to see Lucky Manifest run up a sequence and, if so, Tom has nominated the Coral Cup at the Cheltenham Festival as his long term target.
