Stolen Ribbon

Flat Miler 2yo Bay Filly 15.2hh
  • Sire: Cracksman Dam: Purple Ribbon

THIS SYNDICATE IS NOW SOLD OUT! We are delighted to announce our first 40 share syndicate with 2.5% shares available in this stunning Cracksman x Purple Ribbon two-year-old filly, whose pedigree really has to be seen to be believed. She hails from a remarkable Hascombe & Valiant Stud family (known to many as the red, black and white silks of Anthony Oppenheimer), who owns - and raced - the sire and dam. She was Lot 1114 bought for 55,000 guineas at the Tattersalls Book 2 Sale in Newmarket last week by renowned racing investor Patrick Veitch.

The dam Purple Ribbon is also regally bred and is a half-sister to the likes of Group 1 winner, Courage Mon Ami, Listed winners Lion’s Pride and Crimson Rosette, and Group 2-placed Danielle. On the track, she was touched off in the Listed Wild Flower Stakes at Kempton at four.

Cracksman was champion three-year-old colt and a four-time Group 1 winner, including the Champion Stakes twice. He has made a cracking start to his stallion career, as the sire of 2023 Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe winner, Ace Impact. He is also responsible for the highly-rated pair of East Hampton and the aforementioned Danielle (half-sister to our filly’s dam), both Group 2 seconds this season.

In summary, with a pedigree of this quality, she has serious potential resale value as a broodmare.

This filly will be trained by Eve Johnson Houghton, who has had a landmark season thanks to her exploits with two-year-old Zavateri, who won the Group 2 July Stakes at Newmarket second time out, adding the Group 2 Vintage Stakes at Goodwood, before landing a deserved Group 1 in the National Stakes at the Curragh.

This is a 40 share syndicate, with an initial share price of £1,750, including the purchase price of the horse at £1,443.75 per share, plus all costs to January 31st, 2026. From that date, there will be 18 monthly payments of £119 payable by direct debit (reductions available for multiple shares - see our website for a full breakdown) until June 30th, 2027.

This covers all training, veterinary, transport & racing costs, plus RaceShare’s service fee for the management of the syndicate. The RaceShare team will be in touch to set up your direct debit once you have made the initial payment for your share(s). Alternatively, if you prefer not to pay monthly, you have the option to pay all the fees up front - please contact the office for details.

Please note: at the end of the syndicate term you will have the option of continuing for a further 12-month term (in which case your monthly fees would also continue) or exiting the syndicate, with RaceShare then offering your share(s) for sale, firstly to existing syndicate members, then to new owners via our website.
