Yes I’m Mali is a four-year-old gelding by Sands Of Mali, purchased for 22,000gns at the Tattersalls Horses-in-Training Sale by Patrick Veitch, who was particularly taken with him and felt he was one of the best-handicapped horses in training. Previously trained by Richard Fahey, he joined David O’Meara, a highly respected trainer with an excellent record of improving horses from other yards.
Yes I’m Mali made an immediate impression, winning a six-furlong handicap at Thirsk on just his second start for RaceShare, showing a determined attitude to see off his rivals. He added to that victory at Ripon in September and should continue to give his owners plenty of action on the racecourse.
