This is a 500 share syndicate, with an initial share price of £98 (reduced from the cost price of £105), and 12 monthly payments of £12 payable from May 31st 2025 by direct debit (reduced to £11 for 5 shares or more) until April 30th 2026. This covers all training, veterinary, transport & racing (entries, jockey & VAT services) costs, plus RaceShare’s service fee for the management of the syndicate.The RaceShare team will in touch to set up your direct debit once you have made the initial payment for your share(s).

Our latest purchase was Lot 105 from Goffs Breeze-Up Sale at Doncaster, a striking bay gelding by Cotai Glory out of Jane Doe who has been named CITY OF DREAMS. He was bought for £50,000 (£52,500 including Goffs’ commission) by renowned racing investor Patrick Veitch and is trained by Ed Bethell, who has rapidly established himself as one of the most promising young talents in the country, with very impressive overall statistics from the quality of bloodstock he has received, and we are delighted to add him to our training roster. Ed’s yard is in Middleham, North Yorkshire – a very picturesque small racing town with stunning views, that is well worth a visit in itself!

After three runs in novice events over 6 furlongs towards the end of 2025, CITY OF DREAMS was given a break before making his handicap debut over an extended mile at Wolverhampton in March. After showing good early pace to get to the front and then travelling well for a long way, he kept on well to be 4th, not beaten far in the end. With improvement to come from the experience, we have every reason to hope that he can be winning races soon.

500 share syndicate benefits

• Owners will be guaranteed at least one stable visit a year. Wherever possible we will give at least 2 months’ notice of each visit, allowing time for owners to plan their trip.

• A guaranteed place on Zoom calls with Ed Bethell, at least every two months when in full training, with a recording sent to anyone unable to join us live.

• Your chance of receiving a badge when your horse runs will be hugely higher, with the number of shares per horse compared to our original syndicates reduced by 83-88%. Due to location and other commitments, our experience is that only a minority of owners apply on any one day, so your badge prospects will improve dramatically. RaceShare will continue its unrivalled efforts to secure extra badges, either free or at discounted rates, so you will hopefully find you are often able to benefit from these even when discount numbers are limited.

• Patrick Veitch has agreed to a Zoom Q+A which we shall host with all owners of new horses. There will be two opportunities each year, with everyone invited to attend at least one, but in this first year you will be able to attend both. Patrick will take questions on all aspects of the racing industry, including bloodstock and buying for RaceShare, as well as betting and any other issues of interest.

• Anyone buying in at the same level as a RaceShare100 horse (i.e. buying 5 or more shares for at least a 1% stake) will have direct WhatsApp contact with their own Racing Manager and receive a small discount to their monthly fee.
