Sea Of Serenity
- Sire: Space Blues Dam: Silver Moon
We are delighted to announce our next 500 share syndicate purchase, a gorgeous two-year-old filly with a cracking pedigree, by Space Blues out of Silver Moon. She was bought at Tattersalls Book 2 Yearling Sale for 75,000 guineas by renowned racing investor Patrick Veitch.
She’s a filly that our team loved for her physical presence - she is mechanically correct and built to be sound and tough - just the type RaceShare excels at buying. Already in training with Ed Bethell, her fantastic temperament shines through, and paired with her striking looks, she has all the ingredients for a successful racehorse.
Silver Moon’s two progeny to date are both multiple winners with Profit Refused being Timeform rated 95. Silver Moon is a half-sister to none other than dual Breeders’ Cup and 7-time Group 1 winner Rebel’s Romance, and dual Group 1 winner Measured Time. Rebel's Romance added a further £680k to his career earnings - now totalling nearly £12m - having finished second in the Breeders' Cup turf at the beginning of November. It’s a high quality Godolphin pedigree through and through and she has serious potential resale value as a broodmare.
Space Blues was a winner at two and victorious at Group 1 level three times - in the Prix Maurice de Gheest, Foret and Breeders' Cup Mile. A glittering career on the track, he has made a fast start with his first two-year-olds in 2025, with Power Blue, officially rated 115, flying the flag for him as the winner of the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh.
In summary, with a pedigree of this quality, she has serious potential resale value as a broodmare.
This filly will be trained by Ed Bethell, who has rapidly established himself as one of the most promising young talents in the country, with very impressive overall statistics from the quality of bloodstock he has received. Ed’s yard is in Middleham, North Yorkshire – a very picturesque small racing town with stunning views, that is well worth a visit in itself!
This is a 500 share syndicate, with an initial share price of £190, including the purchase price of the horse at £157.50 per share, plus all costs to January 31st, 2026. From that date, there will be 18 monthly payments of £12 payable by direct debit (reduced to £11 for 5 shares or more) until June 30th, 2027.
This covers all training, veterinary, transport & racing costs, plus RaceShare’s service fee for the management of the syndicate. The RaceShare team will be in touch to set up your direct debit once you have made the initial payment for your share(s). Alternatively, if you prefer not to pay monthly, you have the option to pay all the fees up front - please contact the office for details.
Please note: at the end of the syndicate term you will have the option of continuing for a further 12-month term (in which case your monthly fees would also continue) or exiting the syndicate, with RaceShare then offering your share(s) for sale, firstly to existing syndicate members, then to new owners via our website.
There are many benefits to owning with RaceShare, but they include:
- Owners will be guaranteed at least one stable visit a year. Wherever possible we will give at least 2 months’ notice of each visit, allowing time for owners to plan their trip.
- A guaranteed place on video calls with Ed Bethell, at least every two months when in full training, with a recording sent to anyone unable to join us live.
- Your chance of receiving an owner’s badge when your horse runs is very good and we always work with the racecourses to maximise the number of owners' badges, discounted tickets and sometimes fantastic hospitality options.
- Patrick Veitch has agreed to a Zoom Q+A twice a year, which we shall host with all owners of new horses. Patrick will take questions on all aspects of the racing industry, including bloodstock and buying for RaceShare, as well as betting and any other issues of interest.
- Anyone buying in at the same level as a 100 share horse (i.e. buying 5 or more shares for at least a 1% stake) will have direct WhatsApp contact with their own Racing Manager and receive a small discount to their monthly fee.
- If you purchase a 25% stake in the horse, you have the option to be named on the racecard as a co-owner.
