RaceShare 100 Information

We are delighted to have secured a new recruit to our team, our first RaceShare 100 horse. The horse we bought was Lot 230 at the April Doncaster breeze-up sales, a two-year-old filly by Mohaather out of Oeuvre D’Art. Please click here to visit the Goffs website and view photos of our new filly, watch a video of her breeze and see her pedigree. Please click here to watch a video of Sean Quinn introducing you to the filly.

We launched shares to those of you who registered an interest and are very grateful for the support shown, with 87% sold in the first few days after purchase. The remaining shares are now available to purchase on a first-come, first-served basis, so please find below the details.

A 1% share will cost £787.50, which is 1% of the purchase price of £78,750. Please note that all bloodstock sales companies apply a 5% premium to the hammer price (£75,000). Additionally to this share cost, the fees for all training, racing and veterinary costs, plus RaceShare’s service fees, will come in at £69 per month.

We at RaceShare are unusual in that almost all other ownership groups of this type syndicate their horses at a hefty profit over purchase price, whereas we syndicate at cost price. However, this leads to a monthly fee that is higher than seen elsewhere, as we obviously need to cover the cost of running the RaceShare business. RaceShare does not try to manage at the lowest cost - instead, we aim to provide the very best service with the full RaceShare team, which gives us a higher cost base than other syndicates.

The syndicate will end on 31 October 2025 and all owners will pay 18 monthly instalments commencing on 31 May 2024. At the end point, if RaceShare advises a sale, then owners will receive their pro-rata proceeds after the horses-in-training sale. If RaceShare advises continuing, then owners will have the option to commit to a further 12 month term. If they don’t renew, we will aim to sell their share(s), with shares being sold in the order that they came on sale.

Becoming a RaceShare 100 owner means you will have direct communication with your own Racing Manager. For our first RaceShare 100 horse, we are also able to offer two further bits of positive news. Firstly, we are able to guarantee that all RaceShare 100 owners will be able to attend a stable visit on the dates we set and bring someone with them. Secondly, we are delighted to report that Sean Quinn has confirmed he will make himself available for a Zoom call with all RS100 owners every 4-6 weeks, so that owners will have the chance to discuss their horse directly with Sean and the RaceShare team. Both of these benefits are specific to this horse and some of our other trainers have 200-300 horses to manage and may not be able to guarantee these elements, so this will need to be assessed on a case by case basis.

If you would like to purchase one or more shares, please email us as soon as possible to info@raceshare.com. A member of the RaceShare Team will quickly be in touch to get you enrolled as an owner! If the remaining 13 shares sell out, we will start a waiting list and contact you if share(s) become available.
