Happy New Year from RaceShare!

Happy new year from us all at RaceShare! 2024 promises to be a really exciting year for us with seven horses to run in our silks, including five on the Flat and two over Jumps.

Jolly Nellerie will probably be our first runner of the new year as he ran in December for the first time over fences and the plan is to step him up in trip for his next start. Our other jumper Golden Maverick could be next to hit the racecourse, which would be his first appearance for RaceShare having been bought at the horses-in-training sale for £105k in October. He has been schooling nicely over hurdles and this five-time winner on the Flat is a really interesting recruit to this sphere for Jamie Snowden.

Robusto could be hot on their heels before the Flat turf season gets underway in April. He was our other October horses-in-training sale purchase and his pre-training is well underway, so Eve Johnson Houghton could have him ready for a run in the next few months and, hopefully, he will continue where he left off!

Our other four Flat horses are all either on their winter holiday or recently resumed training and they include our 2023 flagbearer Scampi, who will make his 2024 seasonal reappearance with a classy Timeform rating of 103. He took us to a plethora of the best meetings in the calendar and hopefully it will be more of the same this year! Treasure Time is firmly in the category of 'most exciting' for 2024 having flown home for second at Kempton when last seen in October. This was only his second start and it most certainly got our juices flowing for what could happen this year.

Last but not least, our final two horses for this year are La Pulga and Red Mirage. La Pulga has done nothing but give his all since joining RaceShare. He ran 12 times last year, including at some prestigious meetings and should continue to be competitive on the turf this year. Red Mirage is probably the most well-handicapped of the Flat quintet, having dropped 12lbs below his last winning mark. His 2023 season was a little bewildering, but we are confident the Quinn team can bring him back to form this year.

If you are yet to join RaceShare and one of our seven horses catches your eye, we would love to welcome you on board. Please check out our 'buy or gift shares' page for more information.
