Huge week of exciting runners!

Today feels like the key date marking the start of a summer of action for RaceShare, with four potential runners this week!

Red Mirage is the first of those - he has already been declared to run at Catterick on Wednesday (4.50pm). He hasn't been seen since September, so he’s enjoyed a nice long break, during which he underwent a wind operation. He returns to the track on his lowest ever mark. Sean Quinn is very happy with the horse, so we are very hopeful that this season Big Red can show his best form for his owners.

La Pulga is being aimed at an apprentice handicap on Friday at Newcastle, a track where he twice ran so well in defeat at the end of last year. The course suits his run style and he clearly has a liking for the Tapeta surface - which, while the ground is soft on the turf, is a great option to have while we wait for it to dry out. He had a busy year in 2023 and was a winner at Hamilton last June, so we are looking forward to lots more action from him this time around.

Golden Maverick is targeting the biggest pot of the week, as he seeks to make it a hat-trick of wins over hurdles at Sandown for the Jumps Finale meeting. He will hopefully stake his claim to win the £100k prize in the novices' handicap final, having been a really impressive winner last time out at Catterick. The race is likely to attract a lot of entries, so we are hoping Mav gets a run, but if not, he has a back-up entry at Perth on Friday.

Robusto completes the quartet with an entry at Southwell on Sunday, where he ran so well on his first run in the RaceShare silks earlier this month. He ran above expectations that day and hopefully he continues to do that this season! That last run came over 1m 6f, the longest trip he has raced over to date and Sunday's race is over the same distance once again.
