Golden Maverick wins over hurdles!

We had to wait for his third start over obstacles, but Golden Maverick is now an easy winner in the hurdles sphere having won eased down today at Haydock!

Well-supported in the early market and boasting the best Racing Post (hurdle) Rating on offer, Mav was still a little keen in the very early stages. His jumping improved again from when we last saw him and he tracked the leader Ma Belle Artiste for much of the race. Jockey Gavin Sheehan asked him to get a little closer on the turn for home and it didn't take long for him to take up the running. In the home straight, he went through the gears smoothly and was eased down to record a comfortable five length victory. 

All his RaceShare owners are now winning racehorse owners - if they weren't already! - and the buzz we all felt was incredible. The future looks bright for our boy and given how he improved with each start on the Flat, the signs are promising that he will continue to improve with racing.
