Golden Maverick debuts tomorrow at Catterick
The excitement is sky high for tomorrow's card at Catterick, because RaceShare owners of Golden Maverick will see our newest recruit make his debut over hurdles.
The son of Zarak has been pleasing trainer Jamie Snowden in his work at home and he has shown promising aptitude for jumping obstacles since joining the team from the Flat yard of Ian Williams. He won five times for that yard from 15 starts and showed himself to be a tough and consistent individual, who could excel in the Jumps sphere.
He faces six rivals tomorrow in a juvenile hurdle over the minimum trip and the ground is heavy, soft in places. As with many of these types of races, there is very little form to go on, but we are hopeful of a good first run from our boy in RaceShare silks.
