Yes I'm Mali and Red Mirage raise the curtain on the 2026 Flat season
RaceShare will be double-handed on day two of the opening Flat Lincoln meeting at Doncaster this Sunday, as Red Mirage and Yes I’m Mali get their seasons underway on Town Moor.
Red Mirage heads into his fourth season at RaceShare - now eight years old - and what a popular horse he is. Last year, he had more runs in a season than ever before and landed his second victory for his owners over this course and distance in July. That was a memorable win at 14/1 and, in seven runs afterwards, he strung together a second, two thirds and two fourths, so his consistency was there for all to see.
He embarks on the new season having been in seemingly great form at home and we know he goes well fresh, so let’s see what Sunday at 3.30pm brings.
Yes I’m Mali is at the other end of the spectrum having never raced for RaceShare, joining us from the Autumn Horses-in-Training sale at Tattersalls for 22,000gns. He was a winner at the 2024 York Ebor off a mark of 77 and despite not winning in 2025, we are hopeful he proves to be a bargain purchase. He starts the season 2lbs below that mark in the 5.50pm and we are looking forward to hopefully a long and successful season with him.
