Undiscovered scores impressively on debut!

A heavily backed odds-on favourite, Undiscovered made a winning start in a competitive Salisbury novice yesterday afternoon for trainer Ralph Beckett and jockey Rossa Ryan. Our two-year-old colt by New Bay, was at the Tattersalls December Yearling Sale (lot 31) for 55,000 guineas.

In what was described as a “professional, impressive winning debut” - Ralph made it no secret that he was confident that we have a nice horse on our hands. Adding further encouragement, New Bay's progeny are not typically known for showing their very best form this early in their two-year-old careers. Many improve considerably with time and often progress from two to three, making this performance all the more exciting.

Tonight, attention turns to Kempton, where The Lost Sock is set to run at 7.10pm. We wish all of his owners the very best of luck.
