The Lost Sock wins for the RaceShare x Racing TV syndicate

The Lost Sock gave his RaceShare x Racing TV owners a fantastic day on Wednesday at Catterick, recording his first win on just his third start in a 5-furlong maiden. He dominated the race with the runner-up from some way out and, having engaged in a duel over the last 2 furlongs, crossed the line to win a shade cosily in the end. He has shown improvement with each run and Timeform have rated him 89p for this effort.

Trainer Roger Varian reported he was a little sore after the race, so may need a couple of weeks recuperation, but his owners can look forward to a campaign in nurseries in the autumn. Quite a free-going sort, The Lost Sock may well stick to 5 furlongs for the moment, but his pedigree suggests he’ll be suited to 6 furlongs in time.
