The Lost Sock & La Pulga assignments this week
The Lost Sock will make his third career start at Catterick today for the RaceShare x Racing TV syndicate, where members enjoy a free share as part of their subscription to the channel.
The Cotai Glory colt bought from the breeze-ups in April was third on debut at Nottingham and stepped up with great promise to be beaten a head in second at Thirsk next time. The form took a serious boost when Boston Dan ran an absolute stormer in second in the Harry's Half Million at York last week.
We are very hopeful that a win is around the corner for him and good luck to his owners.
La Pulga will be the next runner for RaceShare when he runs tomorrow in another Racing League event. This will be his third attempt at this team event this summer, with his best performance coming when beaten narrowly at Wolverhampton by his Team Scotland counterpart and regular rival, Charging Thunder.
Back on the all-weather here at Southwell, where he has run well before, he also drops back to 1m 3f. He is versatile in terms of trip and hopefully his jockey Paul Mulrennan can make it a test of stamina. We are really looking forward to seeing him back on the track for his tenth start of the year and no doubt he will be giving it his all once again.
