Stable visits in full flow
Our latest round of stable visits are well underway with RaceShare Owners having headed to North Yorkshire already this month to see La Pulga and Red Mirage. La Pulga is in training with Charlie Johnston at Kingsley Park in Middleham, which is a stunning facility and of course the place from which his father Mark became the first trainer to saddle 5,000 winners.
La Pulga ran at Haydock on the same day, so his owners managed to see him in the morning at home, chat to Charlie and meet other owners, before heading down to the races. It was a bumper day of action and although La Pulga couldn't top it off with a win, it was still a memorable one for all involved.
Red Mirage is based at Highfield Stables in Malton with the John Quinn team and remarkably, he had also only run two days prior, so his owners managed to see him looking in race fit form at the yard. John was in great form and fielded loads of questions from Ross Brierley, our host, and the owners in attendance.
We will soon be heading to Herefordshire for the latest stable visit to see Jolly Nellerie with Venetia Williams and then in October it's the turn of Andrew Balding to see Scampi, followed by William Haggas in Newmarket for Treasure Time.
