Scampi runs in the Ebor on Saturday!

RaceShare's flagbearer Scampi has been declared to run in the £500k Sky Bet Ebor Handicap at York on Saturday, which has been his long term target ever since he won at the track back in May on only his second start in RaceShare silks.

The son of Nayef has since added a thrilling Shergar Cup victory to his name, which took his total prize money earned in seven starts this season to over the £100k mark. We are under no illusions that the Ebor is one of the toughest handicaps of the year to win. Every horse in the race is there to win, not only because of the prize money and prestige of the race, but also because it's a 'win and you're in race' for the $8m Melbourne Cup - the 'race that stops a nation' - in Australia in November.

Scampi has done us hugely proud this year and we can't wait to see how he gets on in such a high-class event.
