Red Mirage Returns to Chester Red Mirage Returns to Chester

Red Mirage is set to make his return to Chester Racecourse on Friday afternoon, lining up in the opening race on the card- the same amateur contest in which he ran a creditable third last year.

He’ll be aiming to go two places better this time and build momentum after a stop-start early season caused by the record-breaking lack of rain. Although the wide draw presents a tough challenge around Chester’s tight, turning Roodee, Red Mirage’s proven course ability will be an advantage on such a specialist’s track.

We will be hoping the rain keeps falling, too, as any softening of the ground would be a real boost to his chances. Good luck to his owners.
