Red Mirage bids to go back-to-back

Red Mirage returns to Kempton tonight (7.15pm) looking to back up last month’s Doncaster success.

Champion jockey Oisin Murphy is booked for the ride, and while Red Mirage struck twice from two starts here earlier in his career, his very best form has been on turf- making this switch back to the all-weather an intriguing test.

A 40-strong band of owners will be on course, making the most of a private facility courtesy of the racecourse. Whatever the result, Big Red won’t be short of support.
