RaceShare’s ex-racehorse enjoying a jolly second career

At RaceShare, we’re always keen to emphasise the importance of caring for racehorses after their racing careers come to an end. So we’re delighted to share the update below from Helen, who rehomed Jolly Nellerie last year.

Jolly was the first RaceShare horse to be retired and look for a second career, and it is a fantastic showcase of how ex-racehorses can find a new life after racing. The video illustrates the great work that HEROS do - who were responsible for re-training him for his career after racing - and we hope you enjoy watching it here.

All of RaceShare’s horses have their own pension fund which owners contribute to upon purchasing their shares, and we also commit to a considerable annual donation to the ROR (Retraining of Racehorses).
