Our first winner!

We are over the moon to have landed our first RaceShare winner today on Wednesday, May 17 in the 1:50 at York, courtesy of Scampi trained by Andrew Balding and ridden by Hayley Turner. 

Settled in midfield, Scampi made stealthy progress down the home straight, and was one of the last horses off the bridle. He began to lengthen and hit the front over a furlong from home, going on to score and hold off the late challenges of 102-rated and quality yardstick, Sam Cooke, and the improving, Real Dream. 
He was a cosy winner in the end and gained automatic qualification into the Ebor Handicap itself on Saturday, August 26 2023, which becomes a new long term target for him this season.

Scampi's value has risen significantly as a result, given he is now a contender for the York Ebor, so we have increased his price per share to £59 based on a new valuation of £150,000 for the horse. We feel this is still an attractive price to buy into a high quality and improving handicapper, who will now have some big races in his sights for the remainder of the season.
