Lucky Manifest & Marlacoo kick off Cheltenham November Meeting

Thursday 13 November 2025

The Cheltenham November meeting is one of the racecourse’s biggest fixtures outside the Festival in March and RaceShare will kick it off in the opening race tomorrow with two runners! The race is a conditional jockeys’ handicap hurdle over 2m 5f, with Cameron Iles and Toby McCain-Mitchell taking the reins.

Lucky Manifest was last seen winning at Kelso on his RaceShare debut, having won at the same track for previous connections just before we bought him. He steps up in class now and takes on his biggest field to date, but is towards the head of the market and deservedly so, arriving on a hat-trick.

Marlacoo went very close to winning on his seasonal reappearance at Chepstow’s opening meeting of the season in October, but bumped into a useful horse from the Dan Skelton yard. He was a winner at Ayr earlier this year on heavy ground, so the very wet conditions tomorrow should be to his liking - perhaps more so than Lucky Manifest.

Both horses go there with chances and it’s great to have two runners at such a prestigious meeting. It could be a third, however, if Gibbs Island is declared tomorrow for the Greatwood Hurdle on Sunday. He ran on the same card as Marlacoo at Chepstow, winning in really impressive fashion - and now steps back up in class. The ground come Sunday could be very testing indeed, but he has form on heavy ground on the Flat, so let’s see if he will take his chance and give RaceShare owners another shot at a winner at the home of Jump racing.
