Lucky Manifest & City Of Dreams are next out on the track

Lucky Manifest and City Of Dreams will be on the track this weekend bidding to give our owners a memorable end to their week!

The former heads to the closing Jumps meeting of the season at Sandown, for the ‘lucky last’ where he will take on 14 rivals in what is a typically competitive Class 2 handicap hurdle over two and a half miles. He was last seen finishing just worse than midfield at Kelso, following which he has been given a wind operation.

He began the season with victory at Kelso in October and followed that up with a blinding effort to finish a close second at the Cheltenham November meeting in a big field handicap. He stayed on strongly that day to be just denied by A Pai De Nom from the Skelton yard, who has since gone on to win twice more, so the form could hardly be more solid. We are all hoping he can bounce back to that form tomorrow, so fingers crossed and good luck to his owners.

City Of Dreams switches to the turf for his sixth career start on Sunday at Wetherby, his third run in a handicap. His two efforts so far have been solid fourth places at Wolverhampton and Southwell, and he’s been dropped 1lb following that most recent effort. The switch to turf could bring about some improvement and hopefully he can put in another good performance.
