Lir Speciale declared for Newmarket on Sunday!

We are so excited that Lir Speciale is set to line up at Newmarket on Sunday for his first run for the RaceShare and Racing TV partnership!

Lir Speciale is an outstanding prospect. As a five-year-old, with only 12 career runs, we think he is bursting with potential. With an official BHA rating of 92 (Timeform rated 103) he's rated high enough to get into some of the Flat season's biggest handicaps.

His last run before RaceShare purchased him at the Tattersalls Horses-In-Training sales in October 2023, was at Chelmsford in September on the all weather, where he finished fourth. It was a bang in form run which saw him finish strongly having been too far back as a result of a bad draw. He's in training with Stuart Williams (previously with Roger Varian) and Stuart is a master at improving horses bought from other yards.

We can't wait to see him on the track, so let's see how he gets on!
