La Pulga Aims to Fire in York Festival Opener

Monday 12 May 2025

RaceShare stalwart La Pulga will be looking to get the Dante Festival off to a flying start as he lines up in the Sky Bet Race To The Ebor Jorvik Handicap, the first race on the opening day at York.

He heads to the Knavesmire on the back of a strong run at Musselburgh, where he finished a close fifth in the £100,000 Queen’s Cup on his reappearance.

With the race potentially throwing up early clues for the Ebor later in the summer, it's a fittingly high-quality start to one of the Flat season’s standout meetings- and RaceShare owners will be hoping La Pulga can deliver another fine performance on the big stage. This race is the one Scampi won - marking RaceShare’s first winner - two years ago!

He’s been a wonderful horse for his loyal band of owners, running 13 times in 2024, and judging by the start of this season- they are in for another memorable year!
