Jolly Nellerie's French form boosted

The form of Jolly Nellerie's second place in his final race in France in July received a healthy boost when the fourth horse, Fils De Roi, won readily on his first start in England at the end of October. After finishing behind Jolly Nellerie at Dieppe in July, Fils De Roi won a claimer over hurdles at Auteuil in September by 15 lengths, before transferring to the Fergal O'Brien yard.

A month later he made the perfect start for his new connections, winning easily on his British debut to beat a previous winner, Admiralty House. A form boost like this for Jolly Nellerie brings his French form to life in the context of the hurdling division in Britain. We can now follow this horse with interest as the Jumps season unfolds.
