Gibbs Island will be representing RaceShare at the biggest Jumps meeting of the season, when he lines up at the Cheltenham Festival in the County Hurdle at 2pm on Friday.

Always one of the most fiercely competitive races at the Festival, it will be no easy task for him, but you have to be in it to win it. He is used to carrying plenty of weight in his races, but this time he gets in right at the bottom, sat 23rd in the list of confirmations, with a maximum field size of 24. Being guaranteed a run avoids an anxious wait at declarations and owners have been able to plan ahead to make Gold Cup day extra special with a runner.

On form, he has to improve on what he has done this season. His winning seasonal debut at Chepstow was a very comfortable victory, but he then finished down the field twice before putting in a better performance at Musselburgh last time. Hopefully, he can build on that effort and give his owners plenty to cheer for. Best of luck to his owners!
