Robusto kicks off a busy 24 hours for RaceShare as he lines up in the 5pm at Wolverhampton this evening, where he bids to go one better than his two seconds recently.

He was just caught by a previously classy horse at Southwell on New Year’s Day, under promising apprentice Harry Vigors, when kicking for home early in the home straight. He followed that up when touched off by a head over the same course and distance 12 days later, when bumped close home and a wall of horses hitting the line virtually together.

He now switches to Wolverhampton, where the shorter straight might help over the mile and a half trip, so we are very hopeful of another big performance. A win would certainly be well-deserved.

Tomorrow, our attention will turn to hurdles, as Gibbs Island lines up in the Scottish County Hurdle at 1.43pm at Musselburgh. He was a classy winner on his return at Chepstow, before being caught out by soft ground on his last two starts. The ground is drying out and hopefully will be much more to his liking, and he can show us what he is made of.

Suzuka is up next in the 4.30pm at Lingfield tomorrow, when she makes her second start for RaceShare. She is drawn in stall 11, which is not easy, but she should come on plenty for her stable debut at Wolverhampton and we are hopeful of a good performance.
