Buccabay and Criminal Shore are back on the track this weekend Buccabay and Criminal Shore are back on the track this weekend

Buccabay bids to continue a good run of form on the all-weather this winter as he lines up tonight in the 8.30pm at Wolverhampton. Criminal Shore follows tomorrow evening at Newcastle in an exciting double header to end the week with.

This will be Buccabay’s first visit to Dunstall Park, so hopefully it will be a successful one. However, it’s a tougher affair on paper than what he has faced recently, with a few last-time-out winners and several ahead of him in the market. We know he has the raw ability to get involved, so if things drop right for him, he can go well under top young jockey Billy Loughnane.

Criminal Shore will have a busy day tomorrow, as he will see his owners for the first time in the morning at the inaugural visit to David O’Meara’s yard. Soon after, he will be making the journey up to Newcastle ahead of the 7pm race. This will be his third start in RaceShare silks, where he will aim to build on his two fourth place finishes to date.

It’s another competitive race containing mostly consistent and reliable performers in this grade, so again we will be hoping he gets luck in-running and can produce where it matters - at the business end.

Good luck to their owners.
