We have an exciting day of racing lined up this Friday, with both Ann Terry and Buccabay set to fly the flag for RaceShare at Thirsk and Doncaster respectively.

Ann Terry makes her much-awaited seasonal reappearance at Thirsk (5.30pm), much to the relief of her patient owners who have waited through one of the driest springs on record. A healthy dose of rain is forecast ahead of raceday- just what Ann Terry thrives on. She signed off 2024 in style, bolting up in heavy ground at Leicester, and with conditions expected to suit, hopes are high for a strong return.

Over at Doncaster (8.25pm), Buccabay bids to build on his impressive last-time-out win at Windsor. He’s expected to have sharpened up for that run, and if he can strike again, he’ll earn a penalty that might just be enough to book his place in the Wokingham Stakes at Royal Ascot- a dream for any racehorse owner.

To top it off, 60 owners will be enjoying the evening in style from Doncaster’s Royal Box, ensuring a fantastic atmosphere no matter the result.

Best of luck to both sets of owners- here’s hoping for a double celebration!
