A memorable experience on Ebor day at York!

Last Saturday was a memorable day that will be etched in the memories of all our owners in Scampi for years to come. Over 180 owners and their guests attended our exclusive event in the Sharpo Bar, generously offered to us by York Racecourse. The venue was the perfect base for a great day's racing and a chance for many owners to meet each other and the RaceShare Team for the first time. 

Every owner on the day was offered a rosette with the RaceShare silks on to show their support for our Ebor runner and we also arranged a discount at the famous Scampi & Chips food bar.

RaceShare's Dan Walsh and one of our owners Nick Briggs were featured on Racing TV in the morning before racing by Tom Stanley, anticipating the exciting day ahead.

ITV's Oli Bell came to the Sharpo Bar before going live on ITV Racing for the first race to introduce himself to owners and mark their cards. There was an opportunity to meet and have a photo with the broadcasting maestro. 

Scampi himself tried his best to top it all off with a win in the £500k Sky Bet Ebor; he was the last off the bridle and jockey Jason Hart felt he was coming there to win, but after struggling to get a clear run at a crucial stage, his stamina gave out over the longer trip. Not that we needed any more evidence, but to travel that well in a race of that quality proves once again how we have a classy animal on our hands.

Overall it was an incredible day and the first of many that RaceShare will aim to offer with this level of involvement and enjoyment for all our owners.
