Our second yearling purchase of 2026
Bought for €60,000 at the Goffs Orby Book 1 Yearling Sale, the filly will form a new 40-share RaceShare syndicate, with Patrick Veitch and William Haggas having teamed up at the sales to secure her.
Both were very keen on the filly, with Patrick particularly impressed by her profile and the exceptionally strong ranking she achieved through his algorithms, while William was taken by her physique and overall quality.
A strong pedigree
She is by Native Trail, a multiple Group 1 winner whose first runners will hit the track in 2027, and Patrick rates his prospects very highly..
Patrick has developed a strong record of identifying promising first-season sires.. His only foal purchase last year was by Bayside Boy, whose first runners have enjoyed an excellent year, while he was also ahead of the curve with Starman, purchasing the top-class Venetian Sun in 2024 when the stallion's stud fee was just €10,000. That has since risen to €40,000.
The filly's dam, Mrs Bouquet, has already made an excellent start to her broodmare career. Her daughter Take Me On is a serious three-year-old who has been placed twice at Listed level and has the potential to progress further, while her first foal, Art Market, was also a very solid performer.
The strength of the family continues throughout the pedigree, with the second dam Riva Royale having produced multiple winners, including Listed winner Stormbringer.
William Haggas
William Haggas needs little introduction as one of Europe's leading trainers, and the partnership between William and Patrick has enjoyed considerable success over the years, including Group wins with Lake Forest, Sky Majesty and Santorini Star.
William has also enjoyed success with RaceShare horses, most notably Treasure Time and Wild Dahlia, while our owners have enjoyed some memorable visits to Newmarket, including personal tours of the historic Somerville Lodge yard with William.
